Grab a large pot.

Any large pot will do!

Fill this pot about 3/4 full.

And add the following…

A tray of ingredients including apples, oranges, vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and whole cloves.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Whole cloves and cinnamon sticks in small bowls.

Slice the apples and oranges and toss in the pot.

Sliced orange ready to go into the Fall simmer pot.

Simply add all of the ingredients to the pot and let it simmer on low heat on your stovetop. (No boiling please!)

Adding vanilla to the Fall simmer pot.

Simmer Down Now!

That’s it!

Let this simmer all day long.

You can even simmer it the next day too!

The long cook time means that the scent will permeate your entire house.

A crock pot is a good option…let it simmer with the lid off for 48 hours. Lovely!
