Equipment

  • Ice cube trays
  • 1 blender or small food processor
  • measuring cup or jigger
  • 1 cocktail glass
  • 1 knife (garnish)
  • 1 cutting board (for garnish)

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz Aperol
  • 4 oz orange juice
  • 1/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 4 oz prosecco or champagne
  • 1 handful ice cubes
  • orange slices and/or basil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Freeze Aperol and orange juice in ice cube trays for at least 4–6 hours.
  • In a blender, combine frozen Aperol and orange juice cubes, frozen strawberries, ice, and prosecco. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and top with an extra splash of prosecco, if desired.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and fresh basil. Serve immediately.
